I’m Shashwat Agarwal, a Software Development Engineer and AI enthusiast based in India. I blend engineering rigor with an AI-first mindset to build products that genuinely move the needle.

My career spans Python back-ends, LLM pipelines, conversational AI, and data infrastructure across fast-moving Martech and mobility startups.

Beyond code, I co-founded Mithahara — a healthy, hygienic & sustainable breakfast venture — which taught me to think beyond features and into real-world impact, customer obsession, and operational excellence.

These days I call myself a vibecoder: someone who uses AI as a creative and engineering force, while maintaining the technical depth to keep output production-ready. Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Krishna Engineering College, India (2021).

What I believe
01

AI is a multiplier, not a replacement. The engineers who will matter most are the ones who can tell when AI output is wrong — and fix it without asking the AI to fix itself.

02

Healthy food doesn’t need to be expensive or exclusive. The gap between what people eat and what they should eat is mostly a distribution problem, not a taste problem.

03

Shipping something real beats perfecting something hypothetical. Speed of learning beats speed of building — but you only learn by building something users can break.

04

The best teams are built on trust and clear ownership, not process. Standups and Jira tickets don’t ship products — people with context and autonomy do.

★ Largest Order — Yoga Day 2025

Served 150 full meals (~450 plates) in a single day at a Yoga Day event in our area. Zero complaints. Total sell-out.

My wife and I started Mithahara on a roadside stall from absolute zero — no investors, no backing, just a recipe we believed in and a gap we saw in our area: nobody was serving healthy, hygienic and sustainable breakfast at an accessible price. Within six months we had four employees (two full-time, two part-time), seven dishes with dedicated fan bases for each, and over ₹100,000 in monthly revenue operating only Monday to Friday.

What we built cut across every social boundary. Day laborers and people who stepped out of luxury cars both stopped at our stall. The people who drove expensive cars came back the next weekend — with their families. Every class of person ate with us. That was never something we planned. It just happened, because the food was honest.

We are on hiatus for family reasons, but the demand never stopped. Customers still call us to place orders. Some visit our home. Our ex-employees reach out asking when we are starting again — not just for the work, but because of the work-life balance and the way we treated them. We received investment interest from multiple individuals but turned them all down — we wanted partners with skin in the game through effort, not just capital. We are planning our comeback and building toward making Mithahara a global brand, pioneering healthy and sustainable eating.

★ Best Moment

Landed a corporate bulk order and sold out completely at a local public event. Proof the product worked when it found the right crowd.

After the breakfast stall went on hiatus, a close friend — a serious fitness enthusiast who had been deep in nutritional research — brought me an overlooked insight: the fitness world obsesses over protein while under-indexing on fiber, which is equally critical for digestion and making protein absorption actually work. His idea: sell fresh fruit cups packed with at least 35g of fiber per serving, making it easy for people to hit their daily fiber goals in one go.

We sourced a carefully chosen mix of fresh, seasonal fruits directly from the local wholesale produce market. The product was genuinely good. The challenge: we were trying to educate a market that wasn’t yet asking the question. Conversion was hard. Many people hadn’t heard of a daily fiber goal, and the price felt steep without that context. We didn’t crack it this time.

I remain a strong believer in the idea. The world is moving fast toward fiber-aware, gut-health-conscious eating. We just needed to meet people where their awareness already was, rather than starting the conversation from scratch. With the right marketing approach — leading with benefits people already care about — I’d back this again.

★ The Core Idea

Bookmark the moments that matter. Hit Revisit — ClipMark walks you through every saved section in sequence. One click to get back everything you found. Share your clips with anyone.

In late 2022, deep in long YouTube tutorials as a junior engineer trying to level up fast, I kept hitting the same wall: there was no way to save what you found. Come back after two days and you’d scroll for ten minutes trying to relocate a single explanation. No bookmarks. No notes. No memory. The idea sat with me for years. In March 2026, I finally built it.

ClipMark is a Chrome extension that turns YouTube into a knowledge tool. Bookmark any moment, tag it, and come back to it with one click. Revisit Mode walks you through all your saved sections in sequence — structured review with zero scrubbing. Share your clips with teammates, students, or anyone who needs to see exactly what you found. AI layers on top to group related clips and surface what matters across a video or playlist — your YouTube brain, finally externalised.

Built for students who learn from YouTube because it’s free and want notes they can actually revise, content creators who prep by marking key moments in past interviews before recording, and developers who want to flag a specific deep-dive in a long conference talk without losing it. Free educational content is everywhere — the tooling to learn from it properly has always lagged behind.
